Non-Hazardous Waste Collection and Separation
Non-hazardous waste collection and separation is an important process that allows recyclable waste to be separated without harming the environment and added to the economy. This process is carried out by separation conveyors and personnel performing manual intervention. While moving on the conveyor belts, waste is separated according to material types by personnel and directed to appropriate recycling areas. A Non-Hazardous Waste Collection and Separation Facility (TAT) will also operate on the same land as Biotrend's ATY Production Facility to be established in Işıkkent. This facility will be based on the process of classifying recyclable bulky solid waste and then selling it to licensed companies and adding it to the economy. The facility will accept non-hazardous waste from different sectors such as packaging industry, logistics warehouses, production factories, retail chains and printing houses. In this context, mixed paper, cardboard, plastic, wood, metal and textile-based waste will be collected and included in recycling processes. Waste brought to the facility will be classified by personnel while being transported by separation conveyors. The separated waste will be directed to designated bins and after being collected in a certain amount, it will be sent to the press machine, where it will be baled and made ready for transportation.
